TRM Labs Reaches Valuation of $2 Billion After Fundraising
TRM Labs, a company specializing in tracking bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, achieved a market valuation of $2 billion on Wednesday (9). The increase is a result of new fundraising following Series C, aimed at expanding tracking against cryptocurrency fraud. The company becomes another unicorn in the crypto market. Esteban Castaño, CEO and co-founder of TRM Labs, highlighted the complexity of the work of investigators, who deal with large volumes of data. The capital injection was led by executives from Blockchain Capital, doubling the corporation's value compared to February 2026. TRM Labs' annual revenue has quadrupled in the last 36 months. With the new resources, the company intends to intensify the fight against criminal threats in digital trails. Data from IC3 indicates that financial losses from virtual attacks in the U.S. rose from $16 billion in 2024 to $21 billion in 2025, driven by the adoption of automated systems by fraudsters. Extortion tools with algorithms recorded a 40% increase in 2026.
