Beware of the Risks of Using Cracked TradingView Premium
On November 8, a security report revealed that attackers are exploiting "Cracked TradingView Premium" to lure Windows users into spreading the Lumma spyware, while Mac users are facing the Atomic Stealer (AMOS), which steals personal data and cryptocurrency wallet information. Some victims reported that their wallets were emptied. Security company Hexastrike documented similar attacks in a 2026 report, with the Windows payload being Vidar and the Mac payload still being AMOS. Attackers hinder automatic scanning by using password-protected compressed files and entice users to install them with promises of free, lifetime access to Premium. Recently, similar promotional posts have appeared on the X platform, urging users to download password-protected compressed files, run KeyGen, and claiming daily updates of VirusTotal scan results on GitHub. Users in the comments have reported antivirus software alerts, but the existing materials are insufficient to confirm the specific type of trojan in the installation package provided by the post. TradingView officially advises users to avoid downloading so-called "cracked", "developer", or "hacked" versions, as the official application is only available through the official website and app stores. Promises of free Premium downloads may contain malware.
