Zondacrypto Withdraws 650,000 PLN in XRP Just Before Withdrawal Freeze. Prosecutor Reveals Wallet Ownership
On the day before the suspension of withdrawals, Zondacrypto withdrew cryptocurrencies worth nearly 650,000 PLN to a single account. Now the prosecutor has revealed to whom this account belonged and whether it was linked to the exchange.
The Zondacrypto case has somewhat quieted down. However, this does not mean that investigators have stopped working; rather, we have not learned much recently. Today, however, journalists from Money.pl obtained answers to questions about a thread that intrigued many observers of this case. It concerns the mysterious account to which Zondacrypto withdrew cryptocurrencies worth around 650,000 PLN. We now know whether its owner had ties to the exchange.
The Day Before the Transaction Suspension, 650,000 PLN Worth of XRP Was Withdrawn. Other Clients Faced Withdrawal Issues
Let’s go back a few months to April 8. At that time, Zondacrypto suspended all withdrawals, confirming issues concerning the exchange. However, the day before, when problems with withdrawing funds were already occurring, the exchange withdrew XRP worth about 650,000 PLN to one of the accounts. While other users could not withdraw smaller amounts, this withdrawal went through. Theories immediately emerged that this was one of the exchange's internal accounts, but there was a lack of evidence for this. The case was examined by Money.pl, which thoroughly analyzed the transactions involving this account, allowing for the creation of a timeline of events.
The Wallet's Origins Date Back to November 2023
The first transaction took place on November 27, 2023, when Zondacrypto sent 11 XRP and activated the wallet. On the same day, a million XRP arrived in the wallet through several transactions. Throughout 2024, there was silence around the wallet, until finally, in the first three months of 2025, over 300,000 XRP were added to the account. From February to August 2025, in four transactions, almost all of this additional pool returned to the Zondacrypto account. And here we arrive at April 7, 2026, when about 130,000 XRP worth 650,000 PLN entered the wallet.
Further Transactions and Prosecutor's Actions. We Know Whether the Wallet Was Linked to Zondacrypto
But that was not the end of the wallet's activity. Just four days later, 1,000 XRP went to Binance, and suddenly the transactions ceased. Initially, 1,000 XRP were sent from the wallet, followed a minute later by another 20,000. In total, 21,000 XRP went to an account linked to Revolut. Then there was another few months of silence, and only on October 29 did another transaction occur. On October 29, 8,000 XRP were sent to KuCoin, only to return to the wallet two days later. The prosecutor then informed that a decision had been made to block these funds. On November 5, the prosecutor published another statement, indicating that the block was effective, and the wallet's owner was identified and questioned as a witness on October 30.
🔵Zonda. Who Is Withdrawing Money? The Mysterious Wallet Has Come to Life Again
The trustee of the Zondacrypto operator has no money to conduct bankruptcy proceedings. Meanwhile, cryptocurrencies have again flowed from the wallet funded by the exchange. This time, 8,000 XRP, worth about 41,000 PLN, went to an account...

It turned out that the owner was not anyone connected to the Zondacrypto exchange. According to the prosecutor, the owner was an ordinary client who legally acquired all the cryptocurrencies. Since it was established that there was no connection to the ongoing investigation, the block was lifted. However, this does not mean the end of problems surrounding this account, as the regulations clearly state that repaying selected creditors to the detriment of others is a crime. Whether the case will proceed in this direction will be decided by the investigators, who at this moment do not inform whether the account owner will face legal consequences.
